Award Details

The Crafoord Prize is one of the world´s most prestigious science prizes awarded in mathematics and astronomy, geosciences, biosciences and polyarthritis since 1982.

This is an invitation-only award: the Academy invites scientists from all over the world to nominate candidates for the prize. The received nominations are then reviewed and assessed by a prize committee consisting of members from the appropriate Academy classes.
